Has anyone been able to get a NTFS formatted drive to work?
wrt1200ac v1

I have, but not with the 1200. However, if it works for the 1900/3200, it should also work for the 1200 as well.

These are the NTFS packages already installed.

root@lede:/etc/config# opkg list-installed |grep ntfs
kmod-fs-ntfs - 4.9.37-1
ntfs-3g - 2017.3.23-1-fuseint

Is a USB drive been formatted with NTFS or a Hard Drive?

Hi guys, I'm desperate. I can not understand how to save the installed packages and then restore them to the first opportunity. But why does not this feature go directly into the firmware? Thank you guys!!!

Great image David, tx very much !!!!

Great work David. R4576 is running great on my wrt3200. Do not see any issues in logs.
Thanks for your efforts

I flashed 4.9 kernel to the mamba and tested for a day and here are my findings:

I was able to get 3h, 4h, and 9h of uptime before a reboot but only while having a single device actively using the network. The moment a second device connected and started to use the internet it would reboot. Having two or more devices caused reboots to occur anywhere between 10-30 minutes.

As of now I have switched to 4.4 and its stable.

IDK I don't even use dnscrypt, don't know what it's stemming from igmproxy or dnscrypt it's just there.

Is anyone else having issues with WDS clients on the 3200ACM? I can't get my 1900AC or 1900AC v2 to connect to my 3200ACM and pass data. They connect but RX remains at 48Mbis and TX at 1300Mbits on the 1900's. The 3200ACM shows 6Mbits on each from each router. I am running davids current builds for each on all of my routers. I have installed bridge and nothing seems to be working. All my other devices remain stable and connected. Is there something I can do to fix this, or is this driver related (dealing with WDS)?

I'm actually not using a dnscrypt provider at all (unless your LEDE build comes preconfigured to use one, which I don't think it does). Is there a spot in LuCi that I can verify or is DNSCrypt only configured via manual config file edits?

Hello am i missing something as trying to mount a 5TB Seagate Expansion drive NTFS on a 1900ACS V1 using Lede Reboot SNAPSHOT r4576-9fe9175 but it doesn't show up in Mount Points so do i need to enable something to get it to work ? drive works fine under DD-WRT

I see there have been a few questions... I'm at work all day today, so if you assistance, please forward those questions to the standard 1900ac/3200acm thread.

https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php … &p=588

I got my WRT3200ACM today and I´m atm running on linksys stuff, but as soon as I log in on the website 192.168.1.1 I am in Linksys smartwifi and I can´t get to manual setup..so that I can install the new OS,what am I doing wrong??

It's a little confusing....but if I remember correctly there was a small comment about local access that might have taken me to the configuration screen.  It was a while ago and it certainly wasn't readily apparent.

I think I found it,in Router settings theres a section where you can update the Router software,I have done a backup so then it´s just to go...

@DavidC502

Sorry for the noob question...  I am a WRT1900ACv1 user on your 4.4 kernel builds.  I just upgraded from R4323 to the R4576 build.  Where can I find the gist of "what's new"?  Scanning the forum thread I see lots of new firmware changes for 3200acm users, but curious what's new for my Mamba.

Also as a side note.  I'm a long time DD-WRT user...  I tried out your LEDE builds and fell in love.  Very professional interface, rock solid build, and a great forum.  I'm really enjoying your firmware for the last 2 months now!

Same issue, it does not show up in Mount Points. The ntfs packages are installed like David said but for some reason it does not show up.

I mount my ntfs drive by putting the mount command in /etc/rc.local (System>Startup>Local Startup in Luci), here's mine for example -

ntfs-3g /dev/sda1 /mnt/storage -o rw,async

that way it mounts at boot, or you can just run your mount command manually, ntfs will never show up in mount points as far as I'm aware.

edit - just wanted to clarify that while ntfs won't show up in Mount Points, it will show up in Mounted File Systems once mounted (in Luci>Mount Points).

Cheers for the info but i gave up in the end and used a spare raspberry pi i had to sit between the drive and router, i lose most of the throughput using a pi but my Blu-ray rips still play fine over wifi

PS i wonder what magic sauce DD-WRT has which makes it easy to mount drives ?

I had an reboot on my Rango (WRT3200ACM), with the lastest image (davidc502 2017-07-15 Kernel 4.9), with some heavy Wifi usage (about 6 devices connected), on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz...

Getting a bit tired of instability... bought the router in March... and it's July and still not getting a decent router....

Back to OEM firmware....

Please post your findings over to gethub - Kaloz mwlwifi, with the logs, so that the information can be used to help the wifi driver.

Since the wifi driver for the 3200acm is what is in Stock firmware (still being pulled together though), I'm sure yuhhaurlin would like to know about it.

Knock on wood... so far with around 10 devices going all the time, no issues over here on 40 and 80mhz widths...   However, testing 160mhz after about 12 hours, wifi disappeared... The kernel logs I found over and over that radar was detected.  Tried channels 36 and 100.

How do I post the logs? The router has rebooted, so no logs...

@beachbum

Thanks for the information and input on how you got it working.

Thanks,

mount a usb thumbdrive (ext 4), and send system logs over to it.

Command to issue to send logs over to usb.
logread -f » /mnt/usb/logfile.txt

Welcome Brewder,

You can find all the changes on the lede gethub site, and is listed in chronological order. Look for package changes and mvebu changes.

So I installed LEDE on my WRT3200ACM,but I cant get my Pioneer N-50A Streamer to work with my Android phone, the Bubble Upnp wont find the Pioneer.
If I boot to the original firmare it works direct.
What to do?
