Where are the TX/RX lines youre connecting to OP? I scanned the ports on the network and found the mjpg streamer but was stopped with the username/password. After decompiling the APK for android, I found admin/admin123 and was able to login. The full link to view the stream is "http://192.168.10.1:8080/?action=stream"

I would love to control this with my laptop instead but I'm not quite sure how to go about doing that.

Surely OP will come back.. sorry for reviving this post but it's the only hope I have at the moment.

Do you have a pin-out for the serial connection?
Also have you looked into the ser2net server? Appears to not be serving up a TTY. I haven't confirmed but it appears that this may be the control link for the flight controller.
