Thank for your reply.
I did try to boot the router in failsafe mode. But I can still not connect to the router.
For the boot into failsafe mode I do the following:
- Unplug the router's power
- Connect the router's LAN1 port directly to your PC
- Configure your PC with a static IP address e.g. 192.168.1.10 (gateway and DNS is not required).
- Plug the power on and wait for the DMZ LED to light up.
- While the DMZ LED is on immediately press any button (Reset and Secure Easy Setup will work) a few times .
- If done right the DMZ LED will quickly flash 3 times every second. (in normal operation is the DMZ LED off)
Now is the router in the falsafe mode.
I try to connect the Router with telnet over terminal (I am using Ubuntu)
But I have always this message:
Trying 192.168.1.1...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: No route to host
By ping I have this message:
PING 192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1) 56(84) bytes of data.
From 192.168.1.2 icmp_seq=1 Destination Host Unreachable
From 192.168.1.2 icmp_seq=2 Destination Host Unreachable
From 192.168.1.2 icmp_seq=3 Destination Host Unreachable
Can they help me to connect my router?
Thank you
