Hi,

A part of instruction in the openWRT Wiki is not clear for me.

OpenWrt Wiki » Table of Hardware » TP-Link » TP-Link TL-WR1043ND

I'm talking about a workaround for WR1043ND V3, starting with following text:

" But to get around that probleme and install the stable Chaos Calmer 15.05.1:

Install the trunk version (openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr1043nd-v3-squashfs-factory.bin) using the stock web-gui
After restart OpenWRT has been install but the Web-GUI won't work yet!
Copy the stable ..sysupgrade.bin file to the router e.g. using WinSCP. Give the file a shorter name e.g. sysupg.bin
Now upgrade the router with that image using this command in OpenWRT Linux prompt "sysupgrade -n -F sysupg.bin" again you can use WinSCP or puTTY.
"

Recommended is to flash first a trunk version of Version 3

"openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr1043nd-v3-squashfs-factory.bin"

and then to upgrade with a stable Version 2 upgrade.

"openwrt-15.05.1-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr1043nd-v2-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin"

Is this a type error or should I really proceed this way ?

Todays (25.8.2016) trunk contains 2 files which looks more realistic to be applied:

openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr1043nd-v3-squashfs-factory.bin

and

openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr1043nd-v3-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin

Any idea what to do ?
