Hi ,

I have actual sources from trunk.

I've compiled image for RPi 3 from profile.

Problem is that I don't see wifi menu in LUCI.

Another problem is that when I want to save something I got error :Read-only file system

What is the name of the image file ?
For example, for banana pi i have openwrt-sunxi-Bananapi-sdcard-vfat-ext4.img
It means that it has 2 partitions : one vfat for boot and another one ext4 for rootfs

Image file is openwrt-brcm2708-bcm2710-rpi-3-ext4-sdcard.img

Root file system mounted readonly.

/dev/root on / type ext4 (ro,noatime,block_validity,delalloc,barrier,user_xattr,acl)

Look dmesg and logread to find out why. It can be anything from filesystem errors to R/O switch on sdcard.

Broadcom didn't add 43430 firmware to linux-firmware git repo, so you need to find it in some unofficial place.

At first I gathered some incorrect info -- this should be a workable solution.  On the wiki page:

it says to use opkg to install kmod-brcmfmac.  For Chaos Calmer see:

https://downloads.openwrt.org/chaos_cal … ages/base/

so the package name is correct.  Trunk is different.  See:

https://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots … ages/base/

so the package to install is called brcmfmac-firmware-sdio, etc.  HTH.

In 15.05(.1) we got one package for driver (.ko module) and firmware. In trunk we have separated packages for driver (.ko module) and firmwares (.bin files). So when using trunk you need kmod-brcmfmac and some of brcmfmac-firmware-* packages.

My config file is just standard conf file based on RPI 3 profile.

It is nothing special.

Additional thing I did was copying brcmfmac43430-sdio.bin and brcmfmac43430-sdio.txt.

Without these files there was no wifi.

It appears as if root is first mounted read-only and then re-mounted as read-write. I built from the latest trunk using the default Pi 3 config and only have the initial read-only mount. Any idea how/why the re-mount occurs?
