LOL. Well, and cancelling support for a single device that looks like nothing else is unheard of too, right?

I used to compile all my kernels myself... those were the days of Linux 2.1.129.
Nowadays, the kernel mostly works for my purposes.

Those were the days indeed... Think I was at 2.0.36 or something with Slackware. make zImage && make modules tongue

They updated mpc85xx to 4.4 in trunk now smile

but usb isnt working with 4.4

Works fine with r49377 and E3372 Non-Hilink

Why not giving Chaos Calmer a try?

Just now upgrade to CC  and same error but not too fast.

I am running OpenWrt Chaos Calmer 15.05 WDR-4900 with PPC chipset and are having problems with 2.4 GHz wifi. 2.4 wifi is very slow and drops connections very often and if I add second SSID for same radio devices only manages to connect 1/10 times.

Anyone that experience the same things?

Hi guys
I would like to turn on my wifi again..
Is there any chance that the KRACK against WPA2 will be fixed for this router?

Actualy i'm on:
OpenWrt Chaos Calmer 15.05.1 / LuCI 15.05-149-g0d8bbd2 Release (git-15.363.78009-956be55)
With Hardware Model:
TP-Link TL-WDR4900 v1

Kindly regards

Hey there.

Chances are the krack thingy isn't solely related to your router but needs to be fixed for each and every device here.

Instead of resurrecting a nearly extinct thread that basically handles individual hardware or build issues, I suggest to keep track of this thread:

https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=72340

Regards,
Stephan.
