HI.
Can somebody share fullflash for wr941nd v3? I bricked my box and unfortunately burned serial roads on the board by iron.
Only one way to recover is flash my cFeon f32-100HIP or any compatible (8M or 16M) by LPT programmer.
Please help!

@manki: you don't need fullflash. just flash a stable openwrt or stock firmware image to the right offset.

Hello everyone,
I want to get USB running on my TP-W941ND v2.2.
I read many post about it here but i can't get the solution for my hardware version.
Could anybody suggest me please?
These are my hardware.

Thank you.

Hi all. Is there any way to make usb work on attitude release?

My router 941nd is bricked or in failsafe mode, maybe smile I dont know: when put the power cord, the router still flash SYS led but no LAN, no WAN (connected with computer but no DHCP). I try to connect with the serial but not success, my bad sad

All I have:
- A bricked tplink 941nd v3.6 (read from back label) same as this : http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb2011 … v3.0_a.png
- A RS232/TTL connector like this: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8082/8385 … 1d4f18.jpg
- A computer (win7, putty...)

Could you help me some advice for this, sorry my bad english.

Thanks for support,
1. Serial and fashing via uboot: I try config but no luck, it too hard for me to do sad
Is connect TX line in usb with RX in main (router), same as the RX line with TX??

2. failsafe.mode: I try to put the router to failsafe mode, the SYN led flash fast bind, but I cant get the host even I manual set ip 192.168.1.2(router 192.168.1.1 mask 255.255.255.0). And try to ping the router 192.168.1.1 fail too sad

jul have you tried all ports including wan and still no ping during failsafe?

Hi!
I made all in according above manual, but router not recognize usb-devices:

- made adding of openwrt-sources for PLL in atheros-CPU (https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php … 60#p128160)

- install all hardware smd: two 22kOhm(for junctions D+, D- r1000/r1001), 4.7kOhm(activeate usb R96) and two pull-down 15kOhm.
- 5v on usb i have provided on Arduino DC-DC convertor
(https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php … 36#p124636)

And more, I tested all wire and connections!
But usb not recognize yet.

My router:                  WR941ND v.3
My openwrt-version:  Backfire (10.03.1, r29638)

Thanx for suggestions!

2. Power obtained through the chip L78M05CV http://www.chipdip.ru/product/78m05-stm/
Input: 40V / Output: 5V 0.5A
I did the right thing?

someone can tell me if usb port is working apropriament??

Hey everybody,

i'am using OpenWRT quite a long time now. I tried to flash my new TL-WR940N with the factory image but, this went horribly wrong. So i tried to connect a serial to usb converter (CP210x), but the console output is in Klingon.

Only signs like that:

We also tried to connect the pullup resistor and swap RX/TX.

Do you have any suggestions?

Luck of the Irish.

My one is intermittent, sometimes klingon sometimes Rs232. Dumping the rom took a few gos to stop interference. Serial needs a VERY good ground as well. However testing with a battery operated laptop didn't solve my problem only persistence.

If you are using a header / connector make sure your plug makes firm contact and it's clean. Tin the pins with 60/40 flux soldier, or just use a brush to scratch them clean. Finger Grease, who knows what is the cause.

Hello guys ,
I got my hands on a TP-LINK 941nd v.3.6 with burnt SPI Flash.
I have a new chip EON 25F32 HIP and a programmer and i was wondering whether someone is willing to send me a full flash dump from a working v.3.6 unit? My board revision is 1.2 .

Thanks in advance !!
