hi guys,
I'm running CC15.05 final with the 802.11ac working (only DFS seems to be broken)
(although i do seem to suffer from the "staying connected but no packets coming through" phenomenon.)

anyhoo, all of a sudden this popped up in the logs:
what triggered this? and how can it be fixed?

How install drivers for photo cameras?

BTW how it looks with the official FW? Is the 5Ghz fixed or it's still weak and unstable? hmm

Dunno. I only use 11g.

looks like latest trunk doesn't have any 5ghz or 2ghz issues. Thanks Openwrt Dev!

it still has the 2.4ghz issue for me(with latest trunk), very low reception.. so issues are still there sadly sad

edit:

checked the codes and https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/20486 is applied, still the issue is there... sad

+1 from me.

latest trunk is unstable, try it with r46672, at this one 2.4 works pretty well

and where would i get r46672 ?

transmit is good but reception is bad due to missing LNA trigger. in latest trunk even transmit is unstable..

Hello. I have a problem, I tried to install a firmware (downgrade) but when restart it appears the orange led and then blink a red led  theres some way to fix it?

In worst case, flash of stock FW from USB always worked for me.

I only use 2.4. You might try the pandorabox FW for 5GHz.

Hello. I just try install in two Xiaomi Mini WiFi 3 differents firmwares and with all get the same result about signal strengh (I monitor the pwd of signal in 5 differents points in my office with the same smartphone (HTC M8):

OpenWRT 15.04 stable
OpenWRT trunk (07-Nov-2015 03:18)
Pandora Box (r1216-20150721)

Again, all this 3 firmwares get the same result in strengh of signal. I need to test with original branded firmware to compare, but for now, I will keep using Openwrt trunk to be sure tongue

You can provide some other test or something to get in mind over this?
I will be installing one of this firmware with my mods on 500 xiaomi routers in the next two months smile so I will keep my research over this router.

As I am doing the same, pls let me know, how your WiFi performs. My 2.4 has a lot of disconnects after couple of hours running.

Ive read this posting and seems like there's mixed results with te 2.4ghz & 5ghz.  Ive tried OpenWRT and my 2.4ghz was weak.  I am on PandoraBox PandoraBox R2 14.09  and it seems OK0 Strong 2/4ghz but the 5ghz randomly seems to drop out over time and becomes unstable.  Just curious if there are any updates to either the OpenWRT to improve the 2.4ghz?  I've read that there was but cant seem to find an updated bin that improves any... Ive also tried other versions of PandoraBox (20150721 build) but it didnt seem to change my 5ghz issues, plus for whatever reason the security settings on 5ghz only allowed for WEP?
