I came across this inexpenaive Chinese made MT7620A OpenWrt WiFi router (under US $34 (standard version) + FREE S/H to US if order through mobile phone). It is based on the MT7620A SoC (recently supported under CC release and/or current trunk?). I tempted to purchase one. However, before I did place an order, I contacted the seller asking if the manufacturer is willing to GPL its OpenWRT source code (which is GPL) and the response I received is a BIG NO, unfortunately. So, I retreated. Anyway, if anyone here is interested, this device looks very promising with the following specs:
- MT7620A SoC (don't know how fast is the clock)
- 16 / 128 MB FLASH / RAM
- OpenWRT system (looks like from a rather old AA release)
- 1 PCIe slot
- 1 SIM card slot
- 1 USB2 port
- 1 microSD slot
- 4x 10/100 Mbps LAN port (no Giga switch)
- 1x 10/100 Mbps WAN port (no Giga port)
- Comes with 2x 5dbi external antennas (standard version)
- Support dual frequencies, i.e. 2.4 and 5 GHz.
