I tried installing openwrt and WLAN doesn't work.

eth0 is WAN, eth2 is WLAN, i don't use LAN

Here are the settings used by dd-wrt that work.

~ # nvram show | grep ifname
wl0_ifname=eth2
lan_ifnames_t=vlan0 eth0
pppd_pppifname=
wlan_ifname=eth0
lan_ifnames=vlan0 eth1 eth2 eth3
pppoe_ifname=
wan_ifnames=eth0
size: 29179 bytes (3589 left)
lan_ifname=br0
wl_ifname=
wan_ifname=eth0
primary_ifname=eth0
wan_pppoe_ifname=

Someone should edit the wiki with the above info.

Also here's dmesg, maybe someone is intrested.

After my fresh installation OpenWRT RC5 I changed (eth2 - WiFi card ) to:
1)br0_ifnames=vlan0 eth2 (before change br0_ifnames=vlan0 eth1)
2)lan_ifnames=vlan0 eth2 (before change lan_ifnames=vlan0 eth1)

Now Wifi work's without WPA, but with WPA doesn't work.

Any setup WPA setting - no result - connect present, but all WiFi traffic stop.
root@OpenWrt:~#   iwconfig eth2
eth2      IEEE 802.11-DS  ESSID:"Nik-WL"
          Mode:Master  Frequency:2.412 GHz  Access Point: 00:17:31:1B:03:27
          Tx-Power:19 dBm
          RTS thr=2347 B   Fragment thr=2346 B
          Encryption key:off

I noticed the same thing. WLAN works without encription and I can't use it like that.
Any solutions ?
Thank you.

I don't now solutions yet.
Pakage nas - installed (req for WPA)
NO result

And what does 'brctl show br0' show? - Is 'eth2' part of the bridge?
is "wl" package installed?

So what did you do exactly ? Installed nas and wl ?

I installed nas and wl before. But I don't why WPA doesn't work, but now work.

Got it working after installing nas and wl.
Works like a charm now.
