Topic: New to OpenWRT and I have a TEW-751DR. Curious if OpenWRT supports it?

Sorry if obvious but I looked all over and I found the model I have here: https://wikidevi.com/wiki/TRENDnet_TEW-751DR_V1.0R
It says that it has a MediaTek MT7620 which is 8MBx64MB and currently supported by OpenWRT (not awesome stats I know), but I'm not seeing any solid answer. So I wanted to ask to be sure before I tried and bricked it lol. Can anyone here confirm its working? Thanks in advance!

nice
i wonder..
MT7620 is a highly integrated device.. from photos.. the whole router is CPU(has switch/usb/wifi integrated) + flash and ram ... arent FW built for similar devices compatible??

i see
http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/buffalo/wmr-300
http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/zbt/wa-05
http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/nexx/wt3020
maybe others.. all MT7620@580 8M flash 64M ram

i suppose first flashing is a problem maybe original FW checks compatibility.. or producer...

Nice, so does this mean it might be supported in the future? Keep in mind I'm a newb but willing to test it out lol. I got this for $5 from a deal site and saw this might be in the OpenWRT wheel house.

probably
you could ask for support on devs forum i suppose giving that the parts inside are already supported

Thanks I appreciate the prompt replies guys. I'll be sure to ask there.

The discussion might have continued from here.
