The website in TP-Link China have just announced a new device, which the outlook is very similar to MR13U.

I believe this should be an ideal device if it can be ported to openwrt, it comes with 3G simcard support build-in, SD card slot...and 10400mAh batteries! Is there anybody who got more information on this?

+1 : I agree, this would be an amazing router to use openwrt with!!! Any guides around of how to port openwrt onto new routers? I have no idea where to start. I guess the first step is to try the release of openwrt for tl-m13u as they should be similar...

Are there any new findings for that device?
Did anybody do some tests on it?

i can recommend you vonets magic4g instead. it's much cheaper, wifi 300mbit N, openwrt is available, but WIP for now. and no, there's no 3g modem inside,

Are there any battery powered wifi routers with embedded 3G modem inside?
