i have a D-LINK DIR-615 D4 router.
and i fetch the sources. i would like to make the firmware myself rather than to use those published in the websites.
therefore, i ran the menuconfig and try to find the config for the model.
however, i failed to find the device model under
target system Ralink RT288x/RT3xxx
Subtarget (RT3x5x/RT5350 based boards)
Then, what should i do now? should i select default profile in the target profile?
i came across the same problem when i try to build the D-LINK DSL-2740B.
Topic: how to manually build a firmware when no target at menuconfig?

i have read this, however, it didn't answer the question.
what version of the router do you have?
what version of the router do you have?
DIR-615 rev D4, which runs on ramips platform and using R305, in the latest menuconfig, I can't find the Target Profile specification.
The instructions here http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/d-link/dir-615#rev.d1-d4 only provides the precompiled bins. However, i desire the sources and build it manually. And it seems impossible in the menuconfig!
Would please provide me with some alternative solutions? thank you!!!
