My belkin adsl modem suddenly decided to die on me. So I cracked it open and connected it through the null modem cable. It boots normally but when reaches to the following line:

 
ADSL> READY
 
timeout(20 secs): cmd=0000 no response
 
hwlan_shut(): begin task id=2 caller=8006e2e8
 
hwlan_shut(): end

it restarts. I tried flashing it's firmware many times with the help of middey on the IRC chat.
