Topic: Help with installing piratebox on the TL-MR3420 V.2.2

The content of this topic has been archived on 4 Mar 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

I am trying to install piratebox on the TL-MR3420 V.2.2
Everything goes as planed until i reach the "downloading openwrt img." prompt then i get errors.
If anyone has experience on installing it and getting it to work and is willing to help me out that would be great.

Please keep in mind i am a hobbyist not an expert.

Also i would pot system log file if i knew how to copy from putty and paste here but i'm a noob and can not figure it out.

What recipe are you following?
What steps have you done so far?
Copy and paste from putty should be just like from any document (although TBF Windows is the one OS I refuse to use).

I am following the instructions from:

http://daviddarts.com/piratebox-diy-openwrt/

the only eception is that "mathias" (one of the developers) suggested i skip the network edit b/c it didn't go well at all the first time i tried using the network edit step.

With windows putty when i right-click to find the copy command (also tried ctrl c) it just copies and pastes it further down in the putty terminal

Mouse-click hold and sweep through text to be copied in Putty running under Windows, then <Ctrl-C> to copy.  Paste into forum message with <Ctrl-V> (within [ code ] [ /code ] tags).

Thanks, i was looking for a "copy and paste GUI function", didn't realize until after i posted it was as easy as swiping.

Here is my log:
