Hi,
I am new in this area. I need to simulate TP-Link device. Is this possible? I have slight experience in such thing in Cisco devices.
So, if I have the firmware, can I run TP-Link system in my windows or Linux machine.

Why you need simulate TP-Link device?
Maybe you can write a emulator to run the TP-Link firmware on your PC machine, but's it's very hard to do that.
Most TP-Link device is just a home router, what it can do can also get by run openwrt firmware,so most case you can forget the TP-Link firmware.
not so sure about what alashwali is asking, but there is a tp link emulator from tp link website.
