Topic: TP Link MR3020 internal battery hack

Just wanted to share my internal battery hack for the MR3020.
I used the 1700 MA sharper image battery suggested by the 'minipwner' setup. Pulled it out of its case, thinned out the 3020 lid a bit, mounted it to the inside, cut some holes for the switch and USB ports and soldered the connections from the battery pcb to the 3020.

Here's some pics: ( didn't have a dremel so I did it all with a razorblade, a sharp knife and lots of hand sanding, next time I buy a dremel!)

The lid does close all the way, this pic was taken early in the process before I finished the holes for the USB ports.

Neat! Your hand work is better than my dremel work!
Thanks for sharing.
