Re: 3g conection surf over proxy help to config router

Hello gugaoforums,

About the openwrt using internet (i.e: package downloading), you can set the http_proxy variable:

http_proxy=http://myproxy.mydomain.com:8080 opkg update

I never set this env variable system wide but it might not be to much difficult.

Now, about a "transparent proxy", I don't have a good solution. I suggest that you use wpad/pac scripts in order to reduce the configuration work in clients.

However, configuration scripts are not supported by all internet clients and even simple fixed http proxy setup, as you commented, is not fully supported by all clients.
