Two stupid (big) problems, I can't access Luci, I can't access wifi. All ok via Lan, all ok via SSH & SCP. Dir www and files inside are ok, but no response from wr703 typing 192.168.1.1/cgi-bin/luci. Luci was installed by opkg install luci. Wifi is also out, maybe there is some wrong setting on wifi or network file. Suggestions? Thanks!!
Luci is ok after:
/etc/init.d/uhttpd enable
/etc/init.d/uhttpd start

Hi all.
I have a problem when configuring 3G interface.
What I did:
1. Flash firmware from this link - http://freestorage.ro/rqvt0evrix3j (Top of a second page of this thread - LE: I recompiled today with comgt+chat=> 3G ready image: http://freestorage.ro/rqvt0evrix3j)
2. Configure 3G interface with my APN and other setting of my Region (Russia)
But 3G interface don`t up. I read this posts: http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/recipes/3gdongle
When I set Modem device in a web in to /dev/ttyUSB0 and run command

Signal Quality: 22,99I think, that modem is OK but I can`t connect to network.
Modem is Huawei E1550.
I need help 
Aha. 3G working now. I have to reboot device and all ok. After few reboots modem not responding again or connected to provider and after that working about 8-10 minutes and then disconnecting...

This firmware is primarily aimed at those wants to easily setup multi-room sound system or wireless audio/speakers system. It is based on openwrt trunk r28854 and loads of cutomisation. In order to be able to make any sound you will need either a usb soundcard or a usb speaker(s). The core sound streaming/driving engine is provided by the latest and greatest pulseaudio 1.1.
WiFi in client mode is enabled by defult and it's exepcting SSID/KEY of Pulse/UEC7wzdu with WPA/WPA2 authentication. If you can change your AP's SSID and KEY then you will never need to touch WR703N's setting at all. Otherwise you should attach a cable to the WR703N and wait for the network card to be assigned an ip and then either use the web browser or ssh (putty) to manage the WR703N.
Three network setup templates are provided: AP, STA (client/station which is default) and WDS. You can found them in /etc/config folder on the WR703N. For example to switch to WDS mode all you need is to copy the two files over and reboot the router

1) Universal USB sound card support (USB 1.0/2.0)
2) pulse audio 1.1 with a few tweaks so it works smoothly over wifi
3) sound card detection script implemented for easy plug and play experience. You can pulg/unplug the usb sound card/speakers at any time
4) web gui powered by x-wrt and password protection disabled by default
5) WIFI in client mode on by default and it expects SSID/KEY of Pulse/UEC7wzdu with WPA/WPA2 authentication
6) Management IP 172.16.0.1 with netmask 255.255.255.0. Default root password is root
7) Optimised for space and speed
Limitations:
Due to the storage limit I have to make a decision of which to include and which not. Firewall (iptable userland and kernel modules), 3G support etc are not of the concern of those who will use this firmware and therefore has been excluded from this firmware.
It does not work well with multiple usb sound cards/speakers and I believe most users will only have one usb card/speakers attached to WR703N at any time. If you for any reason want to try a different usb sound card/speakers then you will need to reboot the router. However you don't need to do so if you unplug and then plug back the same usb sound card/speakers. It should just work, i.e. plug and play.
Battery Performane:
WR703N can be powered by any usb power source (5v with min. 500mA current). I hooked it up with 2 years old 4x rechargeable Ni-Mh batteries (2300mAh). WR703N runs in client wifi mode. The USB speakers I used is from Sweex (SP102 Go Stereo Speaker Bar). Music (resampled to 48K at server side) is played continously with volume set to 50%. The test started at 10AM in the morning and it still plays at 18:00 in that evening!! That's more than 8 hours continusly playback time via wifi and lound speakers.

I see your posts, but may be not carefully. I try USB Hub with external power.
I test 3G modem (Huawei 1550) with D-Link USB active hub (DUB-104). 1 hour modem is working fine. Then I solve to disconnect power from USB hub. After that modem still working (about 30 minutes, after that I disconnect hub).
What you think about it?

check the /etc/chatscripts/3g.chat script
edit 3g.chat with vi
and replace "ATD*99***1#" with "ATD*99#"
save the file and reboot the wr703n and the 3g connection must come up automatically
I feel the last *** are usable for initing an usb 3g phone acting as modem
Some 3g USB modems dial with ATD*99***1#, and some don`t
I solved the same issue with an ZTE MF637 dongle from Cosmote Romania and I don`t think it is a power issue

you should be able to revert to the stock firmware via web GUI.But i haven't tried it myself!
I've compiled the latest trunk version and found Failsafe mode is not working properly. it looked like i have already entered failsafe mode as the LED indicator was blinking very fast.but i can not telnet to the device via cable. when i type telnet 192.168.1.1, it replies: From 192.168.1.111 icmp_seq=30 Destination Host Unreachable.anyone had the same problem?

Further investigation reveals that the culprit is ethernet connection.router simply can not communicate with PC with lastest trunk version installed.
sin: 192.168.1.1 is a hot IP to your home router. Make sure your connection is isolated with your home network.
BTW, I am trying to setup a xmail server to this box as email activated controller. I encountered:
