Topic: luci enable?

Hello

I have flashed 2.4 Kernel openWRT to my wl-500gP v2 router.

I can telnet and ping it at 192.168.1.1
But if I enter http://192.168.1.1 in my browser I get now webpage.
What am I doing wrong? Must I enable Lucy first?

best regards

If you still can telnet your router then you may first setup a password.

Are you using the pre compiled version or are you using the last build present in trunk?
I'm trying to use the r19530 build and I'm unable to load LuCI.
I'm getting a “HTTP 500 Internal Server Error”

I have connected with telnet and set with passwd a password.

But if I want to point my browser 192.168.1.1 I get on no webinterface.

So I think I must enable LuCi?

I am using a precompiled version. Tried the one with 2.4 kernel and 2.6 kernel. Both work and I can telnet on the router. But with both I cant get a Webinterface.

Another question about Luci:
I want to write a additional site for the webinterface or a standalone site which displayes some information about how many clients are connected and so on.
So far I saw that asp ist working and cgi with shell scripts. But where are these infos stored e.g. connected clients?

I haved tried for hours now. But there is no webinterface. can someone help please?

I have the same problem, i bought an rs ubiquiti pro, and i upgraded it from trunk. I uninstalled luci without using web interface even once, but now i change my mind and i want to reinstall it. I press opkg install luci-admin-full, and when i press /etc/init.d/lucid start, i get the following error message:

root@daemon:/# /etc/init.d/lucid start
Starting LuCId superserver: lucidlucid[920]: Failed to initialize daemon http: no sockets bound

lucid[920]: Failed to initialize daemon https: no sockets bound

.
root@daemon:/# svn
-ash: svn: not found

I have not disabled luCI. I have flashed the .trx file from here:http://downloads.openwrt.org/kamikaze/8.09.2/brcm47xx/openwrt-brcm47xx-squashfs.trx

Must I first get Luci over opkg??

But I cant get on Webinterface...

Check your Luci packages in telnet via opkg list-installed | grep luci   , or try opkg list_installed | grep luci

You may have to opkg update and opkg install missing luci packages; here's a list of packages required on my router:

luci-admin-core
luci-admin-full
Luci-fastindex
luci-app-firewall (optional but needed for configuration)
luci-app-qos (optional but may need for prioritising WAN traffic)
luci-cbi
luci-core
luci-http
luci-i18n-english
luci-ipkg
luci-lmo
luci-lucid
luci-nixio
luci-px5g
luci-sgi-cgi
luci-sys
luci-theme-base
luci-theme-openwrt
luci-uci
luci-uvl
luci-web
