Dear All,

i am going to buy a router using OpenWRT.

Actually there is only OpenVPN support installed, but I need SSTP protocol to connect to our company network.

I know SSTP is from Microsoft, but is it somehow possible to use SSTP protocol with my OpenWRT router?

Thank for helping.

Best regards

Frank

There is a package called sstp-client in the repository. But I have never used it myself. And I can't find any documentation in the wiki.

Thanks for reply....

Is there any speed or performance loss compared to the SSTP used in Windows or with Shimo/Mac OS X?

is it difficult to setup or installation of the package and using username, password ands server name is enough?

It depends on the router you are going to buy. A PC is always more powerfull than a router and the whole vpn stuff uses a lot of cpu power.
