I've been working on a internet radio using mightyohm's documentation. I've got it working but there's a problem. The openwrt software I'm using has mpd verion 0.13 on it. I need a much later version of mpd to do AAC decoding.
My question is with the limited memory on the Asus WL-520GU, which version of Opewrt will have a mpd version of 0.16 or higher and still fit on the router?

LOL - 4 MB flash / 16MB RAM.
Forget it, get a device with 8MB flash / 64MB RAM and you will be happy.

TP-link TL-WDR3600 which looks like 8mb flash and 128mb ram
That is a good deal. OpenWrt works very well on those.
