Hi

http://www.tp-link.us/products/details/Archer-C9.html

I would like to know if anyone success flash Archer C9, i need to setup ipsec site-to-site
(archer mr200 ipsec client), but stock hasn't it.
I'm kind of new with Openwrt and couldn't find firmware to flash this router:

https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/archer-c9
https://downloads.openwrt.org/chaos_cal … x/generic/ ?

There is no webflash possible yet, do i need serial flashing like in instructions?

Thank you very much for help,

Andrej

No one has any answer for me? :-)

It does not sound like that router is supported by any developer, or is very popular. You should track down whoever wrote that wiki article, as they seem to have a router and have worked with it. They could answer your questions (obviously).

IPSec is supported via the StrongSwan packages on OpenWRT.

TP-Link has some unique checks on their images when loaded via the web user interface, so you are almost certainly right to say that loading that asus image isn't going to work. You would likely need to TFTP boot from the uboot serial console. Too bad the wiki page didn't seem to have any info or a log showing how to do that.

The discussion might have continued from here.
