kmod-nf-nathelper-extra is missing for Chaos Calmer 15.05 ar71xx generic (http://downloads.openwrt.org/chaos_calm … /packages/)
Someone can explain why and what can be done by this? PPTP VPN is not working for me. According to https://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/vpn.nat.pptp, I need to install that package to get it working. If there is another way, please provide instructions.

Wrong directory.
/packages/base instead of packages/packages

Thank you, that was the problem.
Can you, or someone else, please explain the different directories, or better, point me to a link doing so? I fail to find this information and I am curious.

base is the core packages, located in the main Openwrt source repo.
The other directories are the "feeds", from which the other packages are sourced. luci, packages, routing, telephony etc.
