Topic: what is the exact definition of "UCI identifiers" in UCI System?

hi, every  one!
I'm new to the Community & OpenWrt System.

I'm confused about "UCI identifiers" , when I leanr "THE UCI System "  on wiki.openwrt.org.

It is important to know that UCI identifiers and config file names may contain only the characters a-z, 0-9 and _. E.g. no hyphens (-) are allowed. Option values may contain any character (as long they are properly quoted).

I thought that no hyphens(-) can be used in UCI identifiers until I read something like this in  http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/uci/wireless"

Is this a mistake or just I misunderstand the "identifiers"?

Identifiers are section names and option names. The highlighted text is a section type, wl0 would be the name.
