Hello all,
I have one of these WiFi / 3G (M2M) routers (also branded as ProRoute I believe):

I'd like to know if I can install OpenWrt on it, but know little about the hardware, except:

Did you have any luck with this device? I have the same router. It has 64 MB RAM and 8 MB flash.

Alright, this device has 2 serial ports. The one exposed via the outside connector is /dev/ttyS0 and unfortunately, the console is not on this port. I opened the device and found a 4 holes. It turns out this is /dev/ttyS1 and the console is working. Assuming Pin1 is the square one, here's the layout:

Pin1: 3.3V
Pin2: RX
Pin3: TX
Pin4: Ground

I used it to boot a Dlink 320 OpenWRT image and it works fine which is encouraging. LAN, WAN and power LEDs work. Some other GPIOs:

GPIO 11 State 0 = Signal LED ON
GPIO 19 State 0 = Cell LED ON
GPIO 20 State 0 = VPN LED ON
GPIO 21 State 0 = SYS LED ON

I'm not sure what to do next. I read the Wiki about adding new RAMIPS devices and it seems outdated. Digging on my own, I think I have to make a .dts file for the device and update the Makefile. I'll try that next.
