I hava a 9331 working at adhoc mode, on the top of it has a relay connectted to the ar9331's gpio 12,
when the relay open and close frequently, ar9331's wifi will not work normally, still further, ar9331 will collapse.

Have you installed a flyback Diode? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flyback_diode
Perhaps the relay is drawing too much current?
Have you tried it with a different power supply?
Post your schematics, please...
