Hi

I have flashed a Ubiquiti UAP pro with hotspotsystems OpenWrt image, for testing purpose.
But now I would like to get I back to the original software, and I have tried all kind of firmwares, and tried to force the original on, but to avail.
Could someone please advice, what I should do?

Regards Lars Mortensen

Typically Ubiquiti possible to restore by pressing reset buttonfor 10s on device  power on and after that send via tftp client new image.

tftp -i 192.168.1.20 put original_image.bin

I have tried that, but it fails and tells me that "Firmware check failed".
I am positive that it's the correct firmware, I try to give it.

I just tried to flash with the factory from: http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/trunk/ar71xx/
After that, it starts giving out IP addresses in 192.168.1.x but I cant access the web page.
I tried to flash the sysupgrade.bin but again get the error "Firmware check failed".
I could flash it back to the Hotspotsystems -factory again, and I could access it again.

Hi again

I were using a beta firmware, as the original firmware.
I just found a non beta firmware, and I can flash the device with this, but after the AP is rebooted, it's still OpenWRT...

Can someone help?

Regards

You need a copy of the Ubiquity firmware. OpenWRT does not provide that firmware. You should check on the Ubiquity community site and see if you can find a copy there somewhere: https://community.ubnt.com/unifi
