Topic: how to commit a new package in openwrt mainline

The content of this topic has been archived on 23 Apr 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

I developed a complete cwmp client  fully conform with the TR069 standard.
my cwmp client is published under GPLv2 open source license and it was successfully tested with OpenWRT AA version.
the open source web site is http://www.easycwmp.org

It's pleasure to me to share this cwmp client open source with OpenWRT community.
could you lpease help me to commit "easycwmp" package to the OpenWRT SVN repository.

Best regards

Can you provide your development repository source, i.e. git, svn, etc.?

You can download the source in tar.gz format from the following link: http://easycwmp.org/index.php/manual

I am aware of that; however, I would like to know if you can provide your development repository link.

Comparing to freecwmp, EasyCwmp is a complete cwmp client and it's fully conform with the TR069 standard.

freecwmp has a good source structure, In fact EasyCwmp is derived from freecwmp project thanks to the source structure. we choosed to continue the development of freecwmp in a new separete project with the name EasyCwmp because we wanted to speedup the development of a complete cwmp client under open source license and because we wanted to complete the development of freecwmp in our ways and methods.

Adding EasyCwmp package to the OpenWRT will enrich the openwrt package database. And then it's up to the user to choose the package he wants (what ever easycwmp or freecwmp or others) in the compilation phase

Now we are working with a private svn. and it's not shared yet to the public. I will contact you (nchallah) when we publish our svn repository. Could you please tell me why you are aware with the source we shared? I can support you in the build and in the install in your system

There are a lot of free CVS, GIT, MERCURY, SVN, etc. repository servers out there to host your open-source code for free.

You just told me.

There is no need for that.

The discussion might have continued from here.
