Topic: how to download and install open wrt on tp link WA5210G

I am a new user,  I don't know how to download and install open wrt .
I've visited here too,      http://downloads.openwrt.org/   but I am unable to find the exact file for me

I have two wifi router
No:1  Tenda w311R +  indoor
No: 2   tp link WA5210G.   outdoor

now I want to build a hotspot here using my 2nd out door wifi router (tp link 5210g)

plz any body help me .

you will find this lines

First line of your post I am a new user, if what you just read  it doesn't make sense, stop until you understand what you are getting into. now you have a AP if you don't get it, you will en up with a big brick
5210 does a excellent job as AP, I have one, works 24/7 unattended

I have same router and its page not clear. Hope to someone help us and explain it by order smile

You may should use this program TP-LINK REPROGRAMMER to convert your TL-WA5210G to UBNT NANOSTATION2 then after converting it if you wish to upgrade it to OPENWRT use TFTP method.but dont upgrade firmware from UBNT firmwares,use the default it has lots of patches such as Signal led are corrected and transmitt power increased to 25 dBm.And channels 237 238 239 240 241 242 243 244 245 246 247 248 249 250 251 252 253 254 255 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14.But i think if you install UBNT on it you will not think to install openwrt on it.

ONE THING MORE YOU CANNOT REVERT BACK TO TP-LINK ORIGINAL FIRMWARE.

And one thing more it's free of charge.No MAC valadition bla,bla,bla.
But use the provided MAC and MD5.

I have installed firmware    TL-WA5210G to UBNT NANOSTATION2 then after converting it , I have upgraded it to OPENWRT.

but the big problem is that where is the hotspot option ?
OR may be i want to download and install any other third party firmware to be install ?

There is no "hotspot option", OpenWrt does not have those marketing-speak presets, how a router behaves in a network is defined by how it's configured. What do you want the router to do?

I want to use my router as a Admin , (all of my routers)
manage my router from an other place ,
handle billing plan, price and system configuration.
handles user account, voucher generation, invoice, view stats. etc

These are not a problem, but:

These are definitely not the jobs of a router. These are tasks for a centralized management software (most probably then running a RADIUS server that the routers can authenticate users against). I'm afraid OpenWrt does not do that, and neither does any off-the-shelf consumer router I am aware of.

Revert to UBNT firmware it is best and supports Access Point,Access Point WDS,Client,Client WDS modes.

Use should use TFTP method to revert to UBNT firmware.
1.First of all, power off the device
2.Setup your PC: Windows PC's Ethernet must be configured manually with the following settings (under Network Connections):
3.IP Address: 192.168.1.254, Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
4.Connect AirOS device to PC
5.Begin by depressing the reset button. Keep holding, then power the unit on. Wait 8 seconds then release the button (if you want to reset the unit to factory defaults, wait at least 15 seconds). Signal LEDs will be lit indicating that the device is ready for recovery
6.Make sure that AirOS device responds to pings (perform a ping 192.168.1.20 from a DOS window), if it does not, go back to the first step
7.Upload firmware image file .bin to 192.168.1.20, using a TFTP client software.
8.Wait for about 7-10 minutes (devices and firmware depending) - do not power off the device during the procedure!

IMPORTANT!

Do not switch off, do not reboot and do not disconnect the device from the power supply during the firmware upgrade process, as these actions will damage the device!

Now what OS you installed on your WA5210G router UBNT or OpenWRT.I think that UBNT is installed in it
Tell me your E-Mail ,are you available all times for checking Email,or Facebook ,Team Viewer.
