Hi,
I am using sysupgrade method to flash new firmware binary on my target AR9331 board as given on this page: http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/generic.sysupgrade
Following error is stopping the sysupgrade:
"
Invalid image, hardware ID mismatch, hw:01500101 image: 07030101.
Image check 'platform_check_image' failed.
"
Any idea whats wrong here? Any help would be great

"The current kernel version on the target is 3.8.2 (oolite), while now i have compiled my new kernel which is 3.10.12..

The firmware you want to upgrade is not fit with your current board.
