http://see.sl088.com/id/49q (idont know how to put in here, maybe use code tag?)

no need to put the bootlog here. paste it into the wiki instead.

slboat:
Thank you for info! I put it into wiki!

Wow! 64MiB RAM and 16MiB Flash mod is available for this tiny beauty!!!
Just found it on eBay - https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php … 67#p187967

Hope the author of these mods can comment if they are identical to TL-WR703N mods.

Congratulations!

Nothing special... I have already changed RAM and FLASH in couple of MR10U. There is also available my U-Boot modification for this model.

Could you point out where to get your U-Boot mod? Do you have a general description of your mod? I would like to update wiki with this information.

Don't tell me that you haven't noticed it yet?

I hope you can forgive me, but I just found this topic. I was building images for WRT54L long time ago (geee, 5 years ago!!), and now I got passion for hardware from TP-Link.  I think your U-Boot modification is a must for all supported routers. I will add this info to all wiki pages. Thank you!

pepe2k, please check wiki http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl- … ith.ar9331 and comment how to make it better.

It's great, thank you! If this won't be any problem, please add also the link to article about this modification on my website. It's only in Polish but Google Translator can translate it very well.

I was thinking about adding information about my work but I didn't have time to do it smile

pepe2k, I made more changes to wiki, please check them out and I will propagate this snippet to other articles about supported devices.

Great job! Thank you smile

You're very welcome! I will propagate and publish all wiki links in your main forum thread.

otlabs: please have a look over the wiki page again and verify all information. It seems you used the wr1043nd page as a template, so there are still things left over which don't belong here. Like the Ethernet stuff (vlan config, RTL8366).

MBS, yep, you are right - I need to clean up all Ethernet related stuff on the wiki page.

I placed the order for TP-Link TL-MR10U. It will arrive in several days, so I installed VirtualBox and OpenWRT Buildroot yesterday. I am compiling the whole system right now.

I have one problem - I am unable to find TL-MR10U in targets list (I choose TL-MR11U just to get Buildroot compilation started). Could you point me out what I need to do to enable TL-MR10U target? I use git trunk.

Update: I see - I need the patch from andelf. Great job!

May I ask you what happened with your patch? Why it is not in the trunk (trunk just has a minimal support for TL-MR10U right now)?

Ok, trunk has changed but I managed to apply the andelf's patch (now they use ""001001"*) model="TP-Link TL-MR10U"") and generated several images. As I still waiting for my device to arrive I am looking for volunteers to test these images:

openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-mr10u-v1-squashfs-factory.bin (3.8 MB)
https://mega.co.nz/#!ZcxDSBST!aofbdBvaX … U3mW5gNDyo

openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-mr10u-v1-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin (2.7 MB)
https://mega.co.nz/#!NQxjUT4Q!Nv6fFm95E … 3f97_jAhcg

Waiting for your feedback!

as i test, the firmware work okay, but the led is always blink off, that's kind suck, not like wr703(wr703 led up for work status)

slboat, thank you for testing and commenting! I have disabled module kmod-ledtrig-usbdev by default, I will enable it and create new version of firmware. Hope this will solve the issue.

It arrived, but im having trouble with the latest trunk

it goes into a bootloop, booting roughly every 10 seconds

can still access it through failsafe

Anyone any tips what I can do?

(havent been able to find any other images by the way. Would love to use one of the "earlier" images but cant find them)

Trunk can present a lot of problem now as they switch from kernel 3.8 to kernel 3.10, just take a look at https://github.com/mirrors/openwrt/commits/master

My unit is stuck at local post office for last 4 days, hope to get it by tomorrow so I will contribute with testing.

Meanwhile I invite you to test my images built with kernel 3.8, see message #45.

it gives me an hardware-match error and wont let me flash

(this is in failsafe with the "sysupgrade" command)

Invalid image, hardware ID mismatch, hw:00100101 image:00001001.
Image check 'platform_check_image' failed.

//edit: shit using a force seems to have bricked the router
