As far as I can see on http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/start#pirelli, Pirelli routers are WIP (work in progress).
Unless you have different information (i.e. reliable confirmation, that OpenWRT will work on your device), starting with OpenWRT on a not yet fully supported router is not the best prerequisite to successfull working with OpenWRT, especially if you're an unexperienced user.
To start with OpenWRT, get a device that's fully suppported.
Saves you time and nerves.
