Hello, i have an router Huawei HG655, and i have a problem with recompresing webimg file (inside image resides whole web menu, logo's, and others things).
The thing is that i want to make a custom interface, my own.
I used webflate app, but i got wrong file.
I can flash image to router but i got blank web interface.
I attched bellow differences beetween original and resulted archive.

original image : root@HOME-PC:~/Downloads/hg6xx/original/squashfs-root/etc# file webimg
webimg: C source, ISO-8859 text, with CRLF, LF line terminators

webflate result : root@HOME-PC:~/Downloads/hg6xx/unlocked/squashfs-root/etc# file webimg
webimg: ISO-8859 text, with very long lines, with CRLF, LF line terminators

anyone have any clue how to fix this ?

Thanks.

I have no idea what you are talking about, so take the following as an idea only:
Are you using a windows machine?
carriage returns and line feeds can be messed up.

no, i run linux-ubuntu.

i use exactly thoose tools, but webflate tool from that package dunno how to work with webimg, extract it's contents but not compress back in same format as original.

The discussion might have continued from here.
