Topic: luci-app-openvpn (broken)

The content of this topic has been archived on 27 Mar 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

Hello to all,
3 months have passed since the package "luci-app-openvpn" has been marked as broken (http://luci.subsignal.org/trac/ticket/489). I am well aware of the difficulties and commitment that requires the development of applications, so it is not in my intention to ask that someone have to repair that package, but I'd just like to know if someone is working to repair luci-app-openvpn.
Thank you for any replies.

I'm thinking that luci-app-openvpn is dead. Not so good...

I've posted it in LuCI trac about three weeks ago but it still awaits moderation.

Bear with me for asking a stupid question, but how would I apply this patch?

I was really hoping to swap from DDWRT and to ease the transition while I learn more about OpenWRT, I was hoping to have an OpenVPN GUI.

If you want to use this patch, you should build packages by yourself or wait someone to do this.

I am curious to try out this patch too. Can this be applied for attitude_adjustment or only the trunk?

It's for trunk version of LuCI. Your openWRT version should have "ps" and "awk" onboard.
