Hi Guys i dont find anything about openWRT with TL-WR1042ND is it possible to work with openWRT Firmware.
Or is it planned to make an Firmware for that Gigabit router.
I think the original Firmware is so tired.

Since it has a RTL8198 CPU, I really doubt that there will be support anytime soon.
However it has 8MB flash and 64MB ram, so it is not completely hopeless.

But why you think that this CPU so shitty.
OK the router lowers the bandwidth everday from 107Mbits to 45Mbits ;(
