the recently mod for wr703 is put a rs485 module inside the wr703,i took some time to make it suessful,but it bring me some think,that's im can directly put the arduino mini pro to the small box,so that could be fun.

im know a lot guy like put the small board with the wr703 pcb,but i like the other way,let the board with the top inside the box,so that can easy remove,and mod it.

if u look carefully form the side of usb port, u can see the small light of rs485 board.

all this doing make the box heavy more about 3g,that's ok,still small.

p.s. what is that Mac app? "logic"?
And do you need to go 485 back to USB to get things read on a Mac?

no it's not use arduino to shift,im only use a board with a chip called rs485 to do that,but the arduino mini pro size is just like the board,so that make thing be interest.

how r you this day,long time no see you,how is you wr703's ram?

RAM is all good. I guess the ROM was just a one off failure. Have 3 more units to hack. I really must find a good use for them otherwise wife will complain!

maybe you can selling them to someother player until you have a good idea?

Do you need to switch the level shifter from transmit to receive? If so, how do you do it?

RS485 on 2 wires is half-duplex, and the level shifters I have (MAX13486 or similar) need to be switched from RX to TX
