Hi, I'm struggling with this issue now quite some time, maybe anyone can give me a helping hand:

I have a TP Link WR1043N with backfire 10.03.1 running. Attached is a Huawai e353 - which was very easilly installed as umts modem ...
My problem now is, that I'd no just like to use the stick as umts modem - but I'd also like to have access to a sd card in the stick ... but the card does not show up as device in openwrt ...

I've already tried to enale the sd card using AT^SETPORT="A1,A2;1,2,3,7,A2" ... but this did not change anything.

So I'm a little stuck here ... can anyhelp help?

thanks
CH

I meanwhile found some sort of solution ...

The SD card of the e353 is available before the usb_modeswitch ... after the switch, the SD is gone - but the modem available.
I replaced the values in the shipped usb_modeswitch data files with the following command:
usb_modeswitch -v 12d1 -p 1446 -V 012d1 -P 014db -M "55534243123456780000000000000a11062000000000000100000000000000" -W
Although usb_modeswitch says "prop. not successful" - it unlocks the mode, but keeps the SD card enabled, too ...

Can the above line integrated in the usb_modeswitch data files, somehow too? Simply replacing the values did not work ...
