Hi to all of you, u people do a great job with building open wrt now my question

Im stuck after instaling open wrt,I instaled some packages from here http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/ … /packages/ I downloaded some packages like

   1    blkid_1.41.12-1_ar71xx.ipk
   2    chat_2.4.4-17_ar71xx.ipk
   3    comgt_0.32-9_ar71xx.ipk
   4    kmod-usb-core_2.6.39.6-1_ar71xx.ipk
   5    kmod-usb-ohci_2.6.39.6-1_ar71xx.ipk
   6    kmod-usb-serial-option_2.6.39.6-1_ar71xx.ipk
   7    kmod-usb-serial-wwan_2.6.39.6-1_ar71xx.ipk
   8    kmod-usb-serial_2.6.39.6-1_ar71xx.ipk
   9    kmod-usb-uhci_2.6.39.6-1_ar71xx.ipk
  10    libblkid_1.41.12-1_ar71xx.ipk
  11    libuuid_1.41.12-1_ar71xx.ipk

and instaled but I have problem with this two, opkg say dependiences problem

  12  usb-modeswithch_1.1.7-1_ar71xx.ipk
  13  usb-modeswitch-data_20110227-1_ar71xx.ipk

and then its come time to install luci from package and I dont know which "default" package do I need to be able to do some basic managing of wrt, in packages folder are many luci packages, there is no only "luci" package there are luci-app-some thing luci-lib-something and so on, in google search everybody say "install lucy" but I do not have internet on my router so its only option to downlaod packages and install it in offline mode

Can anybody say to me which package do I need to instal to be able managing wrt and also to be able to menage 3g modem thanks

I firured it now if anyone has a similar problem then u need this packages

Before I install them package by package manually, I'd just setup a local web server and create a local package repo and use 'opkg update && opkg install luci; /etc/init.d/uhttpd enable; /etc/init.d/uhttpd start' the normal way :-)

Just search for luci-lib-lmo_, these packages are compilng wery often and name of package after _ may be changed from time to time

Edit: Sorry I just have looked at http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/ … /packages/ and there is no luci-lib-lmo I do not have idea where is that package may be is no more required or something

The LMO library does not exist anymore, so it is not required.

It seems the file does not exist, but I can still use the rest file. How do I install the files manually cause I dont have internet.
I have already moved them to temp through winscp. How do I run it? Will I run it like this:

  root@OpenWrt:~# cd /tmp
  root@OpenWrt:/tmp# opkg install *.ipk
  root@OpenWrt:/tmp# reboot

I think I can install the above files without LMO? And will I install the manually without internet connection?

  root@OpenWrt:~# cd /tmp
  root@OpenWrt:/tmp# opkg install *.ipk
  root@OpenWrt:/tmp# reboot

After installing the above file excluding    luci-lib-lmo_trunk+svn9008-1_ar71xx.ipk
the following error is what I got

* satisfy_dependencies_for: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for luci-                                                                                    lib-core:
*      libuci-lua *
* opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package luci-lib-core.

the luci could not work error "The CGI process did not produce any response"

What did I do wrong?

  root@OpenWrt:~# cd /tmp
  root@OpenWrt:/tmp# opkg install *.ipk
  root@OpenWrt:/tmp# reboot

First copy packges above to router /tmp folder and just install one by one opkg install

U did not installed all required packages, u need to install libuci-lua_ package and dependiences of that package

Here is update for required packages for LUCI

First copy packages with scp

scp \
liblua_* \
libiwinfo_* \
libiwinfo-lua_* \
luci-proto-ppp_* \
lua_* \
luci-proto-core_* \
luci-app-firewall_* \
luci-theme-base_* \
luci-theme-bootstrap_* \
luci-lib-ipkg_* \
luci-i18n-english_* \
luci-sgi-cgi_* \
libubus-lua_* \
libuci-lua_* \
lua_* \
luci-lib-core_* \
luci-lib-nixio_* \
luci-lib-sys_* \
luci-lib-web_* \
luci-lib-core_* \
luci-mod-admin-core_* \
luci-mod-admin-full_* \
uhttpd_* \
uhttpd-mod-ubus_* \
luci_* root@192.168.1.1:/tmp

then install it in this order

opkg install liblua_*.ipk libiwinfo_*.ipk libiwinfo-lua_*.ipk luci-proto-ppp_*.ipk lua_*.ipk luci-proto-core_*.ipk luci-app-firewall_*.ipk luci-theme-base_*.ipk luci-theme-bootstrap_*.ipk luci-lib-ipkg_*.ipk luci-i18n-english_*.ipk luci-sgi-cgi_*.ipk libubus-lua_*.ipk libuci-lua_*.ipk lua_*.ipk luci-lib-core_*.ipk luci-lib-nixio_*.ipk luci-lib-sys_*.ipk luci-lib-web_*.ipk luci-lib-core_*.ipk luci-mod-admin-core_*.ipk luci-mod-admin-full_*.ipk uhttpd_*.ipk uhttpd-mod-ubus_*.ipk luci_*.ipk

And at end just enable and start uhttpd

/etc/init.d/uhttpd enable
/etc/init.d/uhttpd start

The discussion might have continued from here.
