I have OpenSuse 11.1 on i686 system
For making the image when i try to update sources using
#svn update
it replies with
Skipped '.'
What does this mean, i can not update the sources

Sounded like you are trying to svn up in a wrong directory that has no SVN records.
yes, now i updated in the right directory it worked. thanks
