Topic: Image configuration: DNS, gateway, interface missing

Hi all, I'd like to build the latest "backfire" branch from source (r32191) as I've done in the past, but if I'm configuring my build using menuconfig, the DNS, gateway and interface configuration is missing from the "image configuration" menu. The sub-menu is still working for me in the "backfire_10.03" branch, but the network configuration is missing in "backfire" and "trunk". I can only see the "preinit.../init.../version..." sub-menus.
What am I missing here? I'm building for a WNDR3700 if that's relevant.
Thanks in advance!

The facility has been removed as it collides with firstboot network detection.
Embed a network config in files/etc/config/network if you want to preconfigure your image.

Ok, thanks! Do you know, if there's more information on that change somewhere?

Once again thank you for your fast help!

You want someone who not only can make enduring wedding photographs but someone who is easy to talk to and who enjoys their job. A photographer can add fun to your wedding. If you can relax and enjoy your time with the photographer your photographs will be the enduring photographs you were hoping for.
