Does anyone here know if Cybjit is still around? I would like to ask if he still maintains this python3 on gitorious which will be shutdown soon.

(sorry for the late answer)
I don't know. I also didn't realize that gitorious had been bought by gitlab....
Have you tried sending him a PM ?
It looks like Cybijt finally fixed his/her git repository and I can access it now without a problem. The only thing is I would not know what will happen when gitlab decides to shutdown gitorious.
Please add instructions for installing Python 3.x on this new wiki page:

Today, I checked again and Cybjit git repository is dead. Probably, Cybjit will need to port it to GitLAB.
Updating feed 'python3' from 'git://gitorious.org/openwrt-cybjit/python3.git' ...
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly
failed.

If you don't need the full Python stdlib, then MicroPython is also a good option!
Could somebody write few sentences explaining differences between different versions of Python?
The discussion might have continued from here.
