Topic: Which kind of OEM router is this?

The content of this topic has been archived on 28 Apr 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

I have found a spare circuit board that could come from an italian OEM router named Kraun 2T3R.

It is a 300 mbit wireless-N with WPS support.

I believe it could be a rebranded chinese something.

Could you help me to understand and thus finding a better firmware than the ugly stock one?

The support site does not provide any firmware that could give some hints.

Thank you wink

best way is open it, take good pictures, and report models of various chips inside...

There is a picture attached.

seems very similar to this:

anyway you should post the model of flash chip, and those 2 big near the ethernet ports...

is there a serial pinout on the back of the PCB?

BTW my knowledge ends here sad

It looks to be a Tenda W302R.

Yes, you are right. I found it today.

Can you show both top and bottom photos, there might be model numbers of FCC numbers that would help.

I found the model, thank you. It's a pity nobody has compiled an alternative fimrware. The stock one sucks.

I need Openwrt firmware for Tenda W302r any help ?

The discussion might have continued from here.
