Hello everybody,
I've got an old Asus WL-500g which had all ethernet ports dead. After replacing both on-board capacitors inside router near power socket, all LAN ports works fine (PSU is new). However, the WAN port works only in some cases - if I connect it with short cable to a LAN port of another router, it works normally; otherwise, it doesn't work and the LED of WAN port blinks only weakly.
Does anyone have some experience with this problem? Thank you for your responses.
