you must set password first, you can using putty login telnet
http://mangkaning.0fees.net/image/puttytelnet.JPG

# passwd <enter>
enter new password twice

now, you can login with Winscp

I have racked network config and now cannot get access with putty or telnet.
Router works, but something wrong with ip addreses.
Can I somehow launch router with default configs?

Problem solved. I was able to connect by telnet in safe mode

very very thanks mang now i had copy the firmware file to tmp folder now what to do next

run Putty
type:
cd /tmp
mtd -r write /tmp/code.bin firmware
now it should install the new firmawre, you just need to wait untill it reboots.

now where to write that so that router install firware ?
very very thanks again

after place file image to folder "/tmp" you need rename that... example rename "code.bin"

you copy command  below to putty:

cd /tmp
mtd -e firmware -r write code.bin firmware
reboot

but if you copy sysupgrade.bin to /tmp, that command:

cd /tmp
sysupgrade code.bin
reboot

Hello!

I have an M3420 V2 Tp_link router and i want to restore original firmware.
I have uploaded it with WinSCP, logged in with putty.
When I enter the mtd command - (mtd -r write /tmp/original.bin firmware) - I receive a "Failed to erase block) If i choose not to check the blocks, then I got an "Error writing image" error.
Any idea?

Batka
