Hello, I have bought this router. I have been searching for info about the installation of open-wrt in this platform. But I didn´t find anything. the model is listed in the supported hardware but there isn´t more info. Does anyone sucesfully installed open-wrt in this platform?

Sorry for my english,  I am still  learnnig.

Thankss for your help.

So I have to download the .bin file (the one named sysupgrade?) and upload it to the router?
If it doesn´t work. How do I return to the manufacturer firmware? with the file named factory?

Thanks for your help. I will try it this weekend.
Does the wrt .bin contain a web interface?

If you download from Backfire branch (10.03.1-RC4 has been released yesterday), than answer is yes.

Builds in Trunk can be sometimes broken (do notinclude web UI, wireless not working, etc.)

Oops, sorry.  TL-MR3420 is not supported in Backfire - unless someone would backport support for it from Trunk.

You need to ask someone running ar71xx firmware from trunk, is it ok to flash or not.
I am using Backfire.

Hello, thanks for your help. I have not yet installed openwrt on the router.

I have installed openwrt in the router. But I have a problem I can not perform a sysupgrade

"root@Casa:~# sysupgrade -v http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/trunk/ar71

I get the same error using the sysupgrade or the factory

Please, any help? How do I recover my router? If I try to install again the original firmware from the manufacturer, Would it work?
I have been looking through the forum but I have not find any post with the same problem.

The discussion might have continued from here.
