Serial output is :

FSB v0.06 PLL w ln p08 zi
Solos 461x PP boot v1.5

SDRAM size = 0x1000000
Processor clock speed 264.0MHz
no mac in flash -
Phy reset line on GPIO 4
Boot from Ethernet Port
In Assign function now ...

No Boot because no mac in flash.
Board is a DG834G v5 flashed with WAG54G2.
(the only one with a bootloader in the image online @ linksys)

So i need a working "dump" or "cat of the mtd" from these Routers
mbr624gu
DG834G v5
WAG54G2

Original dump from DG834G v5 is useless because the flashdevice MX29lv320
had biterrors.

Thanks

I have such a fully working DG834 device (original netgear firmware). I would like to put openwrt on it. Is this possible without an serial cable?

Did you try interrupting boot and set mac address on bootloader prompt?

It also depends on if your DG834GU is v3, 4 or 5. all 3 have different chipsets. v3 is AR7, v4 is broadcom and only v5 is Ikanos.

V5 B version CPU is ar7 cx94610 and flash 4mb ram 16mb network chip is marvell880e6 I have a A version too but the dumped wholeflash can't boot for B...anyone have the bootloader ? or whloeflash for progammer!!! thanks-_-
