Anyone upload the photo anywhere? I have a 1GB USB drive that I've stripped and it's dang tiny. Should be plenty of room to either solder it straight to the board (checking the height) or get some leads and solder it to them, expanding the 'internal' storage to 1GB+64MB

Hi! Maybe this fotos help you...
Thanks a lot! Recently I've bought another DIR-825 for myself and were going to finally solder in second USB port. Now it would be much easier, thanks!
but how about booting the router with TWO usb discs?
internal one will be /dev/sdb, external /dev/sda - because the internal usb is secondary; mounting partitions - for optware - in the right way at boot will be a real pain.
out of scripting, i think to solder in cross the signal lines - swiching the two ports; but how sure is to renounce to that dual-coil?
You shouldn't rely on /dev/sd* device names anyway as it is usb device controller init time dependable. Use label or uuid based mounting instead.
