Someone knows if this serial port works and which is the log to expect from?

I have a dead Fonera 2.0n (FON2303A)
No life on leds, not working recovery.
Only life on ethernet ports router's leds when connencted to it.
Nmap tells me that something is still live on it.

I made also the serial interface without receiving anything on it, I usually use it with my other routers, (huawei D100, Pirelli AGPF, Telsey Magic).
Any hints? I googled without finding any concrete exaple of someone in my condition.

I revived my FON2303 few months ago. Hope it will help.

unfortunately my 2.0n led dont power on when trying the reset procedure so tftp connect in not possible.
The only symptom of life of the board is when I plug the ethernet cable directly to my pc I see that the connection seems to be active (only with static ip)
I was hoping to understand something more reading from the serial console the boot log to understand something more.
I have read that a Jtag pinout is also on the board but I didnt found info about using or recovering the router in this way.
any hints more ?

No experience of JTAG on this device sorry.

Regarding serial port, take care: 4-pin connector is not fully wired. You need to be a warrior to sold the RX-TX from the pin-pads on the PCB.
