Topic: How do I flash Kamikaze on a Gateworks Cambria gw2358-4?

The content of this topic has been archived on 2 Feb 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

I'll apologize in advance for beeing a noob and I'm sure there's no stupid question, just stupid people and i'm one of them smile

i'm currently running Kamikaze 8.09_RC1 (r13787) on the cambria but i haven't been able to get the OLSR interface to show up. I'm hoping if I flash the latest version of Kamikaze that might fix my problem but I have no idea how to do this. So far I've downloaded openwrt-cambria-zImage and openwrt-ixp4xx-squashfs.img. Then i become a complete retard and don't know what to do next sad Curious if there is a how to install walkthrough for noobs like me.

I was able to flash openwrt-cambria-zImage and openwrt-ixp4xx-squashfs.img by following the commands

fis init -f
load -r -b %{FREEMEMLO} openwrt-cambria-zImage
fis create kernel
load -r -b %{FREEMEMLO} openwrt-ixp4xx-squashfs.img
fis create rootfs

I reset then i get the following

It goes straight to RedBoot then I dont know what to do next. Any info will be helpful. I want to get this platform working and running OLSR.

Figured it out. I didn't load the kernel and then execute. Figured out the olsr interface as well. There's a package that needs to be installed to get it into the Service menu.

Sorry Baka,
I am facing the same problem. Can you please elaborate on how you figured it out ??

Regards,
Sathya
